Silicone rubber bushing PRG type 24-36kV
Bushings PRG type are basically epoxy resin bushings with plug connection and internal coupling which can be provided with silicone rubber protection.
A - The PRG bushing can be used as a fixed part for medium voltage input on SF6 gas or oil insulated machines. It is provided with a coupling interface according to DIN 47636 which allows a connection with the related movable connectors. It is forbidden to use the bushings outdoor without the related movable connectors or without the silicone rubber protection (B). A+B - The PGS bushing with the silicone rubber protection can be used outdoor for connections with bare electric wire. The PGS can be assembled in any position with the exception of situation in which the sheds of silicone rubber protection are turned upside down, even if slightly.
Bushing insulator PRG type is similar to PGS type, but the silicone rubber protection cannot be removed from the epoxy resin body as the protection has been moulded to the bushing.
